It's important to properly prepare your home for the colder weather. Winter heating can increase your electric bill, but even small changes can make a big difference.
Programs to Help You Save Money
Let PNM help you with your energy saving efforts by signing up for a PNM Home Energy Checkup. For only $40, a qualified assessor will install and program a programmable thermostat, CFL bulbs, faucet aerators and a low-flow showerhead. A programmable thermostat can save you a significant amount of energy when used correctly.
The assessor will also work to find other rebates you may qualify for and additional ways to save energy and reduce your electric bill. The fee is waived for income-qualified customers and some income-qualified customers may be eligible for a free refrigerator.
