Online Application Instructions

The quiz bases eligibility on our funding guidelines and focus areas.  If the application does not open, check the funding guidelines and focus areas to see if your request is a fit.

The application consists of three main sections: primary contact information; organization information and grant proposal information.

You will be asked to "sign in" to the application; enter your e-mail address (this is your user ID) and a password of your choice.

The PNM Fund will send you an e-mail that includes a link that will return you to your application.

Note: The only way to return to your incomplete application is using the link provided in the e-mail from the PNM Fund. You will need to sign in to the application using your user ID and password.

  1. Enter your Tax ID (with or without dashes).
    • Provide the nonprofit organization's federal identification number or EIN.
    • The EIN number must be entered in order to proceed.
  2. Complete the Eligibility Quiz.
  3. Complete the online application.
    • You can review information that you've already provided and make necessary changes by using the "Review My Application" feature at the top of the page.
    • Required information is noted by asterisks. If you leave a required field blank, the page will refresh and inform you that required information is missing. You will not be allowed to submit your application until all required information has been entered.
  4. Use the "Save & Finish Later" option if you are unable to complete your application prior to submitting.
  5. Once you've completed the application:
    • Print a copy of the grant proposal for your records by using the "Printer Friendly Version" feature at the top of the page.
    • Check your application prior to submitting to ensure that your project narrative is included as an attachment.
    • Select the "Submit" button.
    • The application can no longer be accessed once the "Submit" button has been selected.
  6. After you submit the application, you will be given the opportunity to set up a user ID (your e-mail address) and password for the application, if you haven't already done so.
    • A confirmation receipt will be sent to this e-mail address. (The e-mail will come from fund@pnm.com. If you do not receive a confirmation receipt, check your SPAM folder and add fund@pnm.com to your address book.)
