Apply for Help from the PNM Good Neighbor Fund

See how to receive assistance paying your electric bill during COVID-19

The need for electricity in your home during a pandemic is critical, especially with furloughs, reduced household budgets, online schooling, keeping cool during the heat of the summer, and so many people still working from home. The New Mexico Human Services Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the PNM Good Neighbor Fund program are working together to help low-income families pay their electric bill.

The PNM Good Neighbor Fund is an emergency assistance fund for PNM customers facing an unexpected financial hardship due to an emergency situation. The PNM Good Neighbor Fund may be able to help cover part or all of a past-due PNM bill.

Grant recipients must be income-eligible with proof of a qualified emergency situation that occurred within the last six months that has caused an unexpected loss in household income.
