Get Your PNM Home Energy Checkup Just in Time for Summer

Albuquerque: As temperatures begin to rise, and you begin to think about ways to save energy while keeping cool this summer, consider signing up for a PNM Home Energy Checkup.

For only $40, you receive a programmable thermostat, compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs), faucet aerators and low-flow showerheads. In addition, a qualified assessor will complete a walk-through assessment of your home and install each energy-saving measure.

The assessment is free for income-qualified customers.

Additionally, the assessor will also help identify other ways you can save even more energy and reduce costs, including providing rebates for ENERGY STAR appliances.

Assessors will be in the Santa Fe area June 2 to June 13, so customers wanting a checkup should call to schedule today. Schedule your assessments and installations by calling 1-855-775-6491.

If the start of summer means you need to install new cooling equipment, be sure to check out available rebates for energy efficient coolers at pnm.com/rebates.
