Project Summary

The Mid-State Transmission Project is a proposed upgrade to PNM's existing transmission system in Torrance, Socorro, and Valencia counties. The Project includes construction of a new 345-kV transmission line. Much of the proposed Project's route will utilize existing PNM rights of way, with new rights of way options utilized to account for technical, environmental, cultural, land-use, and public input.
