2. Select a Qualified Charger
Your contractor will help you choose a qualified Level 2 charger that meets program requirements.
3. Get Installed and Save Instantly
The contractor completes your installation and applies your rebate instantly on your invoice¿so you pay less upfront.
Extra Help for Income-Qualified Customers
We offer higher rebate amounts for income-qualified customers¿helping reduce or even eliminate most out-of-pocket costs for installation.
Qualifying PNM customers can receive up to $750 off a new Level 2 charger and up to $3,500 toward installation costs, making it easier and more affordable to charge at home.
Your contractor will estimate your total cost before work begins and apply the rebate instantly once your eligibility is confirmed.
Customers often pay little or nothing upfront for installation, depending on site conditions.

The cost to install a Level 2 home charger varies depending on your setup¿things like distance to your existing outlet or whether new outlets are needed.

Get Access to a Cheaper EV Charging Rate
We offer the Whole Home EV rate for residential customers with at-home chargers, making charging your vehicle even more affordable.
The Whole Home Electric Vehicle (WHEV) rate provides a low energy cost between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., so you can power your EV while you sleep.\
Residential customers with an EV registered at their home are eligible to enroll.
