Keeping costs down takes careful planning and smart investments in our electric system. From maintaining and modernizing the grid to operating more efficiently and helping customers reduce energy use, we're continually looking for ways to deliver value for our customers:

Here are a few examples:

• From smart thermostats to refrigerator recycling, PNM Energy Efficiency programs helped customers save 86,784,834 kWh of energy last year, the equivalent annual energy use of 11,639 New Mexico homes. These savings help to offset growing energy needs and keep grid costs lower for everyone.
• When a new customer is added to the grid, fixed costs can be shared across a larger base, resulting in a lower cost per customer. PNM teams have connected over 4,000 new homes and businesses to our grid over the last year.
• Our solar and wind resources helped deliver 80% clean energy last year. When renewable energy isn't needed here at home, we look for opportunities to put those resources to good use, helping manage the overall system costs and deliver greater value for our customers. In 2025, these efforts resulted in $117 million in customer savings.

Powered by Our Foundation: Helping NM Nonprofits

At PNM, we know supporting our state goes beyond delivering electricity. It also means investing in the local organizations that strengthen our communities. That's why the PNM Foundation is committing $1 million this year to support New Mexico nonprofits. Through the Power Grant program, the Foundation provides funding to organizations aligned with its missionsupporting the environment, economic vitality, and educationso they can address the most important needs in their communities. "Our goal is simplelisten to our local nonprofits, trust their work, and help them make a lasting difference right here in our neighborhoods," said Ebony Vizcaino, Executive Director of the PNM Foundation.

Here are a few examples of the local work being supported:

• Meals on Wheels: Delivering healthy meals and checking in on seniors so they can stay safe at home
• Fathers New Mexico: Providing parenting support and job resources to help dads build strong families
• Boys & Girls Clubs: Offering safe after-school programs where kids can learn and grow
