    Submit a Meter Reading

You may want to read your own meter if you have dogs, shrubs and other issues that prevent access for our meter readers.  We will still read your meter every month if we can gain access. We must read your meter at least once a year to ensure accuracy. You will be contacted to make arrangements for the annual meter reading.

Chat with us here on PNM.com or call us at 1-888-DIAL-PNM (888-342-5766) to let us know you would like to self read your meter and submit readings monthly. Then identify your monthly meter read date and see what day your meter is read each month

Exceptions to being able to submit your own meter read:

    • Customers with a Photovoltaic (PV) solar generating sytem must speak with a customer service representative to submit their meter readings.
    • Customers with a Time of Use (TOU) meter must have their meter manually read by our Meter Readers.

    Submit your meter readings online

Log in to your PNM online account. If you do not yet have an account, it takes just a few minutes to set one up, and you have access to other programs, as well as the ability to update your PNM account information.

You can submit your readings up to two calendar days before your meter read date each month. If submitted early, the reading will be prorated to the actual meter read date. Identify your monthly meter read date and see what day your meter is read each month
