If you are planning a project that involves digging, including planting a tree or shrubs, make sure you know where your underground lines are.

Just "Call Before You Dig" - dial 811 statewide - and we'll come to your home within two days and mark utility line locations. It's smart, safe, free and it's the law.

It's also important not to plant near utility underground switch cabinets - those green boxes sometimes seen in residential areas. Find more information on the Call Before You Dig website.
