At PNM we've invested more than $270 million on large scale solar energy centers in New Mexico and we have more than 1 million solar panels at 19 different solar sites to provide 157 megawatts of clean energy for our state. These solar centers are capable of providing power to more than 40,000 average homes for a year.

Along with our universal-scale solar facilities, PNM currently has the largest customer-owned solar program in New Mexico. There are currently more than 13,000 solar customers interconnected to the PNM system which drives the local solar industry. And, since 2007, PNM has paid approximately $44.6 million to solar customers.

The combination of our universal-scale solar, Sky Blue Program and our Customer-owned Solar Program is a large part of why New Mexico ranks among the top states in the nation for per-capita installed solar generation.
