My power is out, but my neighbors power is fine

If your house is the only one without power, see if your main fuse is blown or your main circuit breaker has tripped.

These usually are on a wall next to your electric meter or in the garage.

Then follow these steps to get back in power:

  • Circuit breakers:
    1. Switch the main breaker to Off for 30 seconds
    2. Then switch it back to On
    3. If this doesn't work, call PNM.
  • Fuse boxes:
    1. Use caution.
    2. Be sure the main switch on the fuse box is set to Off before touching any fuses.
    3. Replace any blown fuses.
    4. Turn the main switch to On.
    5. If this doesn't work, call PNM.
