With the Winter Heating Season Just Around the Corner, PNM Reminds Customers to Take Advantage of Rebates

Albuquerque: PNM reminds natural gas customers that taking steps now can save them money through the winter heating season ahead.

Air leaks around ductwork, through walls and ceilings can let warm air out and cold air in. PNM offers natural gas customers rebates of 25 percent (up to $500) on the cost of having insulation installed in attics, roofs, walls, crawlspaces, and around ductwork when performed by a contractor participating in the PNM program.

The PNM program also includes rebates for ductwork leakage testing and sealing, and for air infiltration testing and sealing. For more information, visit PNM.com/rebates or call (505) 866-REBATES.

To assure that a home furnace is running both efficiently and safely, PNM advises having a licensed, insured heating professional perform a check-up now.
