PNM Urges Customers to Support Relief
Efforts In Tornado-Damaged Clovis

Clovis: PNM has made a $10,000 donation to the Salvation Army for relief efforts in Clovis and urges its customers to help the tornado-ravaged community by making a donation through their local PNM customer service center.

“Having witnessed firsthand the work of the Salvation Army in our community after the tornado, it is our privilege to help by donating $10,000. We are encouraging our customers to match our donation by giving generously as they have in past disasters,” said Linda Yeast, PNM manager of customer service for Portales and Clovis.

PNM customers can help by bringing a check made out to the Salvation Army, earmarked "Clovis Tornado Relief," to the nearest PNM customer service center. The Salvation Army will use earmarked donations to support relief efforts in Clovis and Logan. In addition to the PNM offices located at 600 Georgia Street in Clovis, 215 S. Avenue C in Portales, and all walk-in offices in Albuquerque, PNM has offices in 22 other communities in New Mexico. A complete list is posted at PNM.com. “While it is hard to see friends, family members and customers we have served for so many years hurt by the tornado, it is also a source of comfort to be able to play this small role in the efforts that are making this community whole again,” said Yeast. “No doubt there will be many needs and many other ways that people can help this community as relief efforts continue.”
