PNM Offers Volunteer Leadership and
Grant Writing Workshops in Farmington
Farmington: PNM will hold free interactive workshops in Farmington on grant writing and serving on a nonprofit board of directors, training designed for community leaders and for volunteers and employees of nonprofit organizations.
The Nonprofit Volunteer Leadership Training and Grant Writing Interactive Workshops will be held Tuesday, June 20, at San Juan College, 4601 College Blvd., in Room 9008.
Nonprofit Volunteer Leadership Training,
8 am to 10 am
- Learn how to serve as a member of a nonprofit board of directors. Serving on a board is a challenging and rewarding volunteer experience that offers the opportunity to contribute to and become more connected with your community, while honing a variety of personal skills.
Grant Writing Workshop, 10 am to Noon
- Learn how to write a successful grant application. This presentation is filled with tips for nonprofit groups to successfully seek funding from grant makers and outlines the PNM Fund’s grant programs and funding guidelines.
