First Topic in PNM Small Business Series:
Targeted Direct Mail
Albuquerque: PNM this spring will host a series of
free workshops designed to help New Mexico's small businesses
succeed. The first workshop, "Targeted Direct Mail,"
will take place Tuesday, March 29. Small-business owners and
operators throughout the state are invited to attend in person
or via a live webcast on PNM.com.
Mike Naples, direct marketing specialist with the U.S. Postal
Service (USPS), will lead the seminar and discuss why direct
mail works and what kind of direct-mail campaigns are most
effective. Naples will also discuss market segmentation and
the importance of tailoring messages to a targeted audience.
He will also introduce attendees to the USPS ROI Calculator,
a free tool that can determine the effectiveness of a potential
direct-mail campaign in five minutes or less.

The workshop will be webcast live over the Internet at PNM.com.
