Identifying Actual PNM Employees
Albuquerque: PNM has received a report that two men
claiming to work for PNM (Public Service Company of New Mexico)
tried to gain entrance recently into a Farmington area residence
by claiming they were there to investigate a gas leak.
- PNM would like to remind residents and businesses that
they can identify a PNM employee in three ways:
- PNM field employees wear uniforms or vests with the PNM
logo
- PNM employees carry identification badges with them at
all times
- When requested, PNM employees will give the name and phone
number for their supervisors. Customers should feel free
to call the supervisor before allowing access to their homes
or businesses.
PNM has no reason to believe that this is a widespread problem.
However, we do encourage customers to exercise the cautions
listed above.
