Energy Exploration Grants: Powering Discovery

The PNM Fund is powering discovery by offering educators the opportunity to win an Energy Exploration Grant and boost learning about energy in New Mexico classrooms.

Grants are awarded to teachers whose projects best ask and creatively answer a question about energy. Teachers from all disciplines with pre-K - 12 classrooms in public or nonprofit private schools, located in communities served by PNM, are encouraged to apply.

Applications for 2011 Energy Exploration Grants are no longer being accepted. The submission deadline was Oct. 15, 2011.

PNM will begin to accept applications for 2012 Energy Exploration Grants next April. A link to the online application will be available at that time. Please check back.

Grant award recipients

In November 2011, 38 educators throughout New Mexico were awarded grants of up to $2000.
