When we talk about sustainability, what we are really talking about is people. Sustainability in action can take many forms - affordability, educating customers about energy efficiency programs, and ensuring our system is able to meet the changing needs of New Mexicans. It also means keeping our employees safe so they can continue to make a difference in our communities.

Sustainability takes planning – planning that often involves public input. Our Integrated Resource Planning process, energy efficiency and low-income programs are the result of robust public dialogue. Sustainability is important to us because people – our employees, our customers and our stakeholders – are important to us.
