Report an outage or get an update by phone
When the automated phone system answers:
- Follow the voice prompts.
- Say "outage."
- Say "power out."
To help us locate the outage, you may be asked to enter:
- your phone number.
- the Social Security number listed on the account.
- the first 9 digits of your account number.
If we already know about your outage, an estimated restoration time - if available - will be provided.

Information about large outages - generally those affecting 1,000 customers or more - is available from our Twitter page.
