Letters of Credit
Our departing customers
If you are a PNM customer moving to an area served
by another utility, a letter of credit showing your good credit standing with PNM may reduce or eliminate an account deposit required by the new company.
At your request, PNM will fax or mail a letter of credit to your new utility company. Please have the utility's address or fax number available.
Please check with your new utility about its policy regarding letters of credit.
