How to apply for help
- Apply for help from New Mexico LIHEAP
first.
- After receiving help from LIHEAP or being
denied by LIHEAP:
- Gather other information you
need (see below) to apply for
the PNM Good Neighbor Fund.
- Call the Salvation Army to apply for help from
the fund.
- Help is available November 17, 2008 to April 1, 2009,
as long as funds are available.
- You may be eligible for help from the
fund even
if LIHEAP turns you down.

Requirements

Other information you will need
- proof of income;
- a current bill 30 to 60 days past due;
- proof of service address where energy is used;
- valid ID for all members of household.
