PNM Education Initiatives

Helping students achieve their educational goals and giving teachers additional tools are the goals of PNM and the PNM Resources Foundation's educational initiatives.

PNM offers free science fair project guides and teacher grants.

The PNM Fund has annually awarded PNM Classroom Innovation Grants to creative teachers throughout New Mexico. Since 1990, the PNM Fund has awarded more than 850 classroom grants totaling over $2 million.

In 2009, the PNM Fund is offering a new teacher grant. PNM Energy Exploration Grants will provide teachers with resources to ask and help their students creatively answer a question about energy.
