PNM residential natural gas customers can get rebates by having a contractor insulate and weatherize their home.

You can receive a 25 percent rebate (up to $500) for having the following services performed by a contractor:

• Attic, roof, wall, crawl space or duct insulation installed
• Ductwork leakage testing and sealing
• Air infiltration testing and sealing
  • Blower-door test

Insulation and weatherization work must be performed by a contractor:

• Use a participating insulation contractor.
• Use a contractor of your choice.

Typical energy savings for properly insulating and sealing air leaks in your home can be $150 or more per year.

Rebate requirements for contractor-installed insulation and weatherization products are available on the insulation and weatherization rebate form.

• It is no longer required that work be performed by a participating contractor.
• Work can be performed by a contractor of your choice.

Funding for the Insulation Rebate Program comes from the Gas Energy Efficiency line item on your residential natural gas bill.
