PNM Hires New Vice President for Human Resources

Albuquerque: PNM, Public Service Co. of New Mexico, has hired a top executive from the global firm ClientLogic to lead its human resource initiatives and operations.

Alice A. Cobb, a native of Denver, became PNM's senior vice president of people services and development on August 27.

Cobb has more than 21 years of experience in human resource management. Most recently, she served as global human resource officer for ClientLogic, a technology-based, customer-service management company based in Nashville.

Prior to that, Cobb served as executive vice president for human resources at Aames Financial in Los Angeles and vice president of administration for a subsidiary of American General Corporation, a Houston-based financial service corporation.

A graduate of Denver's Metropolitan State College, Cobb holds numerous executive university certifications.

PNM Chairman, President and CEO Jeff Sterba said Cobb is well suited for the job. "PNM's growth strategy requires that we attract and retain the top talent in our industry. I am thrilled to have someone with Alice's talent and drive leading this effort," he said.
