Homelessness, public safety, affordable housing, and carbon emissions

Albuquerque: Today, the PNM Resources Foundation announced its 3-year commitment of $2.5 million to support some of New Mexico¿s biggest challenges of reducing homelessness, increasing public safety, increasing access to affordable housing, and reducing carbon emissions. The investment will be made through nonprofit grants across New Mexico that focus on improving these key impact areas.

¿New Mexico is a great place to be, but it is no secret that we have areas that need improving,¿ said Laurie Roach, PNM Resources Foundation executive director. ¿Supporting the efforts of nonprofits is part of our shared responsibility to better this state and there is no time like the present to move New Mexico forward.¿
