RFP: 2012 Renewable Energy Certificates

Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) issued a request for proposal (RFP) for Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) on January 24, 2012.

PNM is seeking to purchase RECs from one or more qualified respondents equivalent to up to a maximum of 150,000 MWhs that have been or will be generated between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2013.

RECs can be from any source of renewable energy.

• Respondent(s) must be able to show that the energy represented by the certificate was contracted for delivery in N.M., or was consumed or generated by an end-use customer in N.M.
